I’ll be out and about this weekend. On Thursday, I’ll be speaking about my new book, Blue Water, Red Blood at the Bonita Springs Friends of the Library luncheon. It’s a Florida book that’s what I like to call a “near history” novel. If you’d like to know what a killer hurricane, a stubborn man whose nick-name was “Howlin’ Mad, the Brooklyn Bridge and a Christmas cocktail party had to do with helping win World War II, read Blue Water, Red Blood to find out.
Friday and Saturday I’ll be attending the Yeehaw Junction Bluegrass Festival. Find the tent I’m in…we’ll sit a spell and chat a little while we listen to some of the finest bluegrass groups in the US. Yeehaw Junction is near the intersection of Florida 60 and the Sunshine Parkway. Google it. Once you get there don’t worry about finding it!!! There isn’t anyway you can miss it. That’s only about an hour’s drive southeast of Orlando. Come see me!
